Can't put collectible money on poster?

I've got this single bill of collectible money - it is marked as collectible money by the scanner, but I cannot get the prompt to put it on the poster next to the workbench like all the other collectible bills i have. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

edit: it's a 5000 yen bill, has an anime character on the front and the word "HOAXSY" in blue on the back.

sometimes you can get duplicates from random cash from any sidequests, I believe as long as said bill is not currently on the poster.

the posters holds one of each bill type, you can't have 2 of the same (like 2 5000 yen bills) on the poster.

personally I ended up with 2 10,000 yen bills. cause the 10,000 yen comes from beating the game so it took longest to find that one, I ended up getting one early from a cash pile.
