cancle quest or restart

Can I re-start the quest or cancel it? Will there be any damage? I accepted the quest before and couldn't do it, but now I'm ready, but the money is gone, so I don't have enough money to do the quest. What can I do?

if its a purple mission, you can cancel it with some rep loss

yellow missions give you the option to cancel it, and i did click on it once but i never saw it come back so i dont know if it will

Unless it's a timed quest, you can just keep doing other quests to build up the money you need. The tracker app on the phone lets you set which one is your 'current' by using 'set for delivery'. I have a purple quest for two gold necklaces, which I have yet to see and the gem ones I did get apparently don't count. I've just been letting it sit there while I do other quests in hopes I'll get the items I need. No real reason to cancel quests since you can have multiple at a time.
