Finished the game - my thoughts
I think my biggest feedback/complaint about the game is that it doesn't know if it wants to be scalable, and focus on automation, or if it wants to be minutia focused, and make you pick out bills by hand.

Having to set up bills on the workstation and look at them one at a time to find marks, or having to scrub ink off one at a time, isn't fun. It should, at best, be an introductory thing that you quickly work your way out of with a tool that focuses more on macro evolution of the game. Like give me a blacklight sorter that will kick out the different marked currencies, but won't separate USD from Yen or Euro.

It also doesn't really give you the tools to manipulate high volumes of currency that it dumps on you. You can set up 3 XL counters cascading into each other, but since the game seems to render each bill with its individual status of dirty/marked/ink, you reach a critical point where the game drops items pretty quick.

Plus there's no tool for really managing the physical money stacks. You just have to drop stuff on the floor then pick up the stacks you want to complete a job. I was expecting some type of deposit-drawer type system where I could throw clean, non-marked, money in and just pull out whatever I wanted to complete a task. Instead I've got piles of currency floating around. I tried using boxes or similar storage, but then you just have to 'grab all from box, drop all, grab stacks, put in job container, pick up dropped stacks, put back in box' because there's no way to get X from a box.

At about 3/4 through the game I had to emergency dump my entire stock of currency into the piggy bank because my game was stuttering due to the amount of 'stuff' I had laying around.

I also think I missed every single story beat - didn't see the incinerator explode, didn't see the safe drop, etc. Just got 27 text messages that I had to read through because whatever queue it was happened while I was feeding my money counter.

Overall I really liked the idea of the game, but it felt like it was still an early access title.
