[BUG] Soft-Locked "Light It Up" Quest, Unable to Complete

Just wanted to toss this in here and see if anyone else has encountered this.

I'll try to be as vague as possible so I don't spoil anything TOO much...

When you reach the point where you need to find the lever, but you haven't accepted the quest for it yet, the lever will appear and you're able to snag it and attach it to it's rightful location and activate it. But, if you do this before you actually accept the quest, you're no longer able to complete said quest.

Just a heads up for everyone that tries to shave a few seconds off the beginning of your play-through...lol

I did this before getting the quest, I think. Have you read through your text messages? The game will spam you with an entire missed conversation if you do the task but don't read the texts.

Ran into this however I also had a text notice that would not clear. I opened all text. Moved text slider up and down to make sure I read entire contents. Nothing cleared the text.
I also moved lever up and down several times. Do not know what I did but it finally happened.

I started a new play thru, junk scattered, mess everywhere wouldnt clean..... until I walked around .....

It appears some of these clear if you do the steps in a certain order.
