QoL and endgame needs.
So I've played this game for over 28H at this point and are ether rank 34 or 35.
Early game is solid and carries into late game but things become painful late game and not the kind where you feel completed after it's done but rather just drained.

Here are changes this game NEEDS.
The ability to fan out a stack of cash on a table so you can easily see the face of the bills to pick out any marked ones.

A closet or some kind of tent you can buy to create a constant dark area for using UV.

A way to quickly pick up loose bills into a stack that are not from an amalgamated pile. While click and hold is ok when your doing so over and over it just feels draining.

Larger washing machine and ways to move larger amounts of loose money. I use washing machines for basically all money that comes in. mostly for how easily it opens bundled bills but after I'm stuck taking 6-10 trips grabbing a armful (eye roll at 300 being the limit) to the dryer and then from the dryer to the counting machine.
While it looks like they might have this in mind it's not yet in game.

XXL Counter needs to be buffed big time. First an option to auto pack that can be toggled. Next is an ability to auto eject a packed stack and lastly the ability to hold multiple stacks in each bay (I feel 3 is fair) it's so annoying if you set it up like I do to sort 100, 50 and 20's and having to pull a stack every few seconds cause it stops every time one fills up with a single stack.

Optional expansion to have counters hold more money to sort.

Faster walking speed when carrying large objects. I'm all for slowing a player when they carry large / heavy objects but when your trying to carry a table or XXL counter any distance it's just stupidly annoying.

Late game automation to pick out marked bills.

Only have two types of marked bills. Government marked and gang marked. There is no good reason to have 4 different gang marked bills from what I can see and just makes an already annoying process more so.

Flat packing empty containers. Small, medium and large boxes should be able to flat pack onto a pallet and allow pallets to hold a lot more boxes like this. XL boxes I can understand not flat packing.

Backpacks and sports bags should deflate when empty for easier identification and should also be able to store more per pallet when empty.

Shelves and containers that you can place money into predetermined spaces to keep things neat but more importantly allow us to take individual items out. Why must it always be a armful of something when I only want one.

Packs of marked bills should always show in UV, I have stacks of government marked bills that when packed the symbol is not visible.

Labels, let us label boxes or shelves for better identification of stuff. Circling back to before this way we can keep marked bills in a designated area and know which they are.

Broom / leaf blower that allows us an easy way to corral up a large amount of loose scattered money in a single direction. I get tired of using the hold F and pick up cause it too often grabs things close by that I do not want.

Special random jobs. Have jobs that are aimed at one aspect more than others. For example a job that pays nothing but gives you lot's of rep then another which is vice versa. A Job that only gives a little payout and rep but leaves you with more cash. Other jobs that give you objects live vases, statues and the like for cash then other jobs looking for those items in return for high amounts of credits and rep.

Increase how many jobs that want a backpack or sports bag used, it's almost always a box of some sort.

Boxes need buffs on how much money they hold in loose bills. I mean 200 for the small is kinda acceptable but the large box only holding 600 is laughable.

a better way to open large amounts of bundled money quickly. Personally the washing machine is the best but then your wasting over one min between the washing machine then dryer.
If you place the packs on the ground and use the knife as soon as you get two stacks close they merge and obscure the rest of the packs.

If by some misguided reason they decide to keep the workbench it needs a way to easily spread the bills out in some kind of uniform way and not just some haphazard pile let alone allowing for picking up multiple bills at once. Ink cleaning needs a major buff as well considering how many you can easy get and how easily it spreads to clean bills.

While I did enjoy the early and mid game I've have less desire to play the game now that I am in late game due to how tedious it has become. Having scale and manual need is not okay one needs to be reduced.

pretty decent and fair post of requests and feedback if ya ask me

What i thought of when i played it.

I would like to have a 3 way sorter, that toss outs bills left front and right depending on settings for yen/euro/usd.

I skipped all the marked bills stuff, so the cleaning table(?) went totally unused by me, got to the end anyways.

As others said, auto cleaning machine for marked bills

A better storage for stacks/bills, similar to palettes, but where i can pick ONE stack at the time and not all stacks i can pick (f-click)

Some yeah some naaah.

I would wish for signs and not labels, shelves that can hold pallets (full) and maybe that bundels dont pile together.

The walking speed is fine. (looks like its bound to weight)
You can basically fan money out by holding right click, then holding X

Yeah, in a game like this - a mega machine that separates all types of currencies at the same time would be great. And, a US machine that does all 4.
So I am not sure if there is a XL counter or if I didn't get to it yet but they need to make either the large if there is an XL counter able to sort out both counterfeit and marked bills. It's a giant pain in the ass to pull out marked bills and is a huge waste of time. The only reason why I am doing it is because I have to pull them out for that stupid Panther Mission.

While I am on that topic, I would also say to hold off on giving us those special bills till we got a tutorial mission in regards to them. That way we don't accidentally just send them out or throw them into the piggy bank because that is what happened with me and the counterfeit bills. The Panther Mission requests either/or Marked and Counterfeit Bills. I would have held off on sending the counterfeit bills into the piggy bank if I knew I was going to need them. Now I an scrounging around for bills to finish up the mission. This also, goes for those commemorative bills.

Also in regards to the counterfeit bills they should off till you got the workbench and UV light unlocked. That ♥♥♥♥ is annoying to do with the portable UV light, since there is no great way to fan out the cash other than to toss it then manually go through them.

Great points I've been looking for a post that has already explained all my grievances. I played the demo multiple times and watched the clock for the release. As someone who kind of has organization OCD, trying to separate everything late game is too much of a pain. Having that giant storage room burst in with the expectation of filling it makes me want to cry.

My main fear is that this game clearly should be early access. This is just a general cover all routes thought, but I'm worried with it being full release they'll (what would be called an update in early access) release as DLC for profit. I kind of feel thats what gas station simulator did. Don't get me wrong the price for what i'm getting it now is fair but making someone pay for problem they created is unreasonable. My benefit of doubt is in favor that this is not the case and would still buy DLC if it was one instance and solved every problem at once instead of trying to bleed out the profit.

I can see an automation system is this game in a way that hydroneer did it but maybe with the pneumatic tubes and conveyor lines. Money Counters that auto pack and drop out on a line that leads to a pallet.

And for the love of all things GET RID OF WOODEN PALLETS. Serves no purpose other than to annoy. $10 price difference to buy is nothing compared to the speed increase you get from plastic over wood. As a very experienced warehouse worker I would never trust anything you need to stack in this on a platform with slots in the middle of it.

Hold right click and press x to drop a single bill. extremely repetitive but you can fan out this way, but yes we need a 1 click option

I made my own makeshift dark room

So... if you shift f on a pile of money to get 300 in your hands.. and then crouch into that pile it creates a sphere or money that hoovers up all the loose stuff. try it.. you wont be disappointed

So another thing i learn in these forums, hold the bill tape in your hand and when a pack is ready, you left click the stack to pack it and it AUTOMATICALLy falls out of the sorter. this works with ANY of sorters

Hope these tips help you get more enjoyment out of the mundane

If you look for my darkroom post earlier today you will see a link there for youtube where i pretty much show all of these in that 1 video tho the money sphere one might not be in this iteration of the video

I appreciate the suggestions people have made and while they are not bad I can't say they are much if any better than the methods I'm employing and frankly should not need these jerry rigged solutions in the first place for the problems faced.

My current method of dealing with marked bills is dropping a stack in my UV area (Not workbench) and then quick picking them up holding the LMB, I stop when I pick up a marked and drop it to the side then continue again until the next bill.
Or I do vice versa if it's majority marked with only a few unmarked.

As to the holding the tape for the counter, I am looking for a way where I'm not needing to baby sit the damn machine constantly.
I am washing money, drying it and then trying to put it into my counters but when my machine needs me every 5 seconds it's annoying having to just let it sit do nothing or not do the other work I need to do.

Which is why I want to see the machine buffed in some way. Currently the only Solution I see to this is having 4 machine in a cascade where each machine only deals with one nomination of bill so you get 3 stacks filled up before it stops while other bills get spit out to another machine and so on. I'm sorry but I'm not buying 4 machines just for that.

I mean the amount of money late game the jobs are asking for are crazy having to baby sit them. I had a job that wanted $220,000 in clean bills (Can't remember if they asked for unmarked) Even if I'm only dealing with $100 stacks that is still 22 stacks of bills I need to sit and wait for through the machine. Chances are it's not just $100's they gave so your stuck dealing with even more stacks.

I want it where I can walk away from a machine and it still keeps working for more than 5 seconds. I honestly don't think I'm asking for a lot with this ether.

I don't mind the 6-7 different marked bills. but I would love a "marked sorter" of sorts that can sort out X mark. Just an extra sorting process in my mind. I just don't want to sift through another 3k bills crouched down next to my uv light like some deprived gremlin hand sorting it all from not marked, and marked. Id be fine if it were not the fastest sorter. just I want something.

Also don't get me started on inked. I keep it to the side and toss it at quests whenver i can, and or I toss it to the pig. I straight up refuse to engage with the sponge.

I already toss all my money through the washer and dryers. I would happily buy a more thorough cleaner or washer of sorts that had some kind of more involved process. Or maybe having to mix a special cleaning solution for dyed money. Something other then having to manually spread out money on the bench and scrub each individual bill.

Im so-so about better automation because if you automate too much of the game there's essentially no gameplay left. I want some better automation but I still want to have something to actually do when I play.

I would absolutely love a shelf with slots to put money stacks into though. Same with labels.

Inked bills have never bothered me, I pretty much never get any anyway and the ones you are predetermined to get because of story I just chucked in the pig/furnace. Never even used the workbench once so far and I've played through the game twice.

As for Marked bills, I think honestly they could go a really simple route and make it so holding left click only picks up the unmarked bills. Kinda like how it only picks up bills not trash. That way there's still a manual aspect, and some minor sorting needed if you want a specific Mark, but a massive quality of life improvement over what we currently have.

Faster walking speed when carrying large objects isnt really necessary because we already have the trolley for that. Although sometimes you have to put a pallet down first on it before it will accept boxes, which is silly imo. Just let us put boxes straight on it.
