Demo?

Is there a demo anywhere of this game? Any way to play before I buy?

I think a demo would hurt sales more than help since dying before even reaching the 3rd level on the normal difficulty is what most players will be doing for the first 2-4 hours.

Please keep in mind, the demo is based off an early build of Risk of Rain, things like spawn rates and enemy difficulty has changed in the final build.

Demos didn't hurt Spelunky :p And I spent hours dying in that before purchase :)

The demo is only for Windows. :( I would have been OK paying full retail now but the gameplay looks bullet sponge boring gray.
