Monster Logs
I'm unsure if there's a post about this already but is there any way of increasing the drop rate of Monster Logs? I ask because with the fact that you need to be on normal or hard difficulty for them to spawn (I assume so) means getting Monster Logs from later levels will be even harder. Does the spawn rate matter on difficulty or what else?

It's possible they drop on :drizzle: difficulty; I've never played on that difficulty level but I heard people say they've been unlocking characters there. Apparently it's just items that can't be unlocked?

I got 15 logs just fine. Got to 12 playing normally, mostly from monsters that appear in earlier stages. Since I had no logs from last-stage creatures, I figured they were my best bet so I just threw them into the meat-grinder that is Acrid. Took half an hour but I got 3 more logs and unlocked the Huntress.

Target groups of monsters for which you don't have the logs and kill them as fast as possible; should be the optimal way to get their logs.

Items can be unlocked just fine on Drizzle, just some achivements, very few ones, are not possible on drizzle.

Well then, I don't even know why they bothered to mention progress isn't saved on :drizzle: if there's next to no difference...

Your records (time lasted, bosses killed etc.) aren't saved when playing on drizzle. Either way, it's all about getting lucky enough to get a few key items that allow you to snowball into an unkillable beast on any difficulty. Once you're godlike just kill things until your logs drop.

Farming drops on Rainstorm is the way to go. Item/monster logs are not saved on Drizzle, and the drop rates don't increase on Monsoon, with the possible exception of Blighted creatures (not worth it).
well, I haven't unlocked Huntress yet so how I farm is I enable artifacts Kin and Command (Command is optional, I just always have that one on) I usually go enforcer and I just farm until I get one. I got all the logs for the 1st level monsters, so it's gotten harder because you have to beat the first stage in order to get to farming at all each time, and sometimes I don't even get the monster I want on the 2nd one, or even the 3rd stage. I choose enforcer because I think they made him for farming. He's invincible to most enemies when he's Protecting and Serving (no one because he has no friends) against a wall, and his Riot Shotgun pierces.
