Low FPS issue
So I just got this game and I was really excited to play it, But for some reason every time i try to the game slowly drops framerate to about 10 (sometimes lower) and then stays there practically unplayable. I tried issue fixes that helped other people but none of them do anything. It seems like this isn't a common issue so maybe I'm Just doing something wrong?

Check if your system meets requirements. Run DxDiag and it will show your PC specs.

This is going to seem.. Strange.. But an uninstall reinstall helped pick up the frame rate for me. I run a high-end gaming PC, and I think one of the files was corrupted upon initial installation.

Give it a shot. Also try to change the scale.

Had the problem but a computer restart fixed it, for now.

I had the same problem for awhile. it was fixed after I restarted my comp.

Fixed the problem after updating my graphics drivers!
I've since reinstalled the game, restarted my computer, upgraded my drivers and played with the settings and I continue to have the same problem. It doesnt seem to change anything with a gamepad plugged in and on/off either. when I reduced the scaling it took longer to drop but not by much. within the first 20-30 seconds of playing the framerate drops from 60 to about 15 and sometimes even 9 ish.

You might as well post your specs =__=. Could be hardware or software/driver issue like something with Visual C++ but I doubt thats the problem. If you guys post your specs and people start seeing something in common, then maybe people can figure out the problem.

Anyone running windows 8? Having the same problem I have had game after game, extreme slowdown/ framerate drop. Alot of the games i have had this happen with have issues with windows 8 until they are patched properly, IE Hoatline Miami. I'm running an i7 and gtx 660ti on windows 8. Any ideas?

I can toggle back and forth between normal speed and 10fps slo-mo speed by plugging in or unplugging my usb game pad (plugging it in makes it run normal).

Like I said ive tried this and the gamepad on or off and plugged in or not has no effect. Id perfer to use a gamepad but id settle for not if only it would work
I'm on Windows 7, ive heard Windows 8 has their own problems with this and most games.

I'm in a co-op game where 40 FPS is default, and I get 15 or lower at bad times. I really hope this is just a bad connection. =|
