Can mac & pc players play with each other?

Me and my brother both have mac and we can play with hamachi fine, when i tried with my friend who has a pc it did not work.

My roommate uses Windows and I use Linux, and we can play together fine. I would think Mac could play with Linux and Windows as well.

It does work, indeed. I use w8 and my gf uses mac, and it works fine using hamachi.

You might wanna try using Tunngle. It's a lot more stable program that also closes the connection after you quit the program unlike Hamachi.
Haven't used it myself in a while though so not sure how much it has changed.

Or try direct connecting, check your ip from a site that shows it.
