Game is literally in slow motion

I can't even play the game because it's playing in slow motion. My computer can definitely handle this game, it's just that the clock takes like 3 seconds for every in-game second. I can't find any help anywhere on the internet pls help

i had this problem on my laptop until i updated my nvidia drivers. tried that yet?

Try dropping the visual quality (won't actually look notably worse) and turning on the fram limiter. Ideally your framerate should stay at 60fps - it will probably slow down in heavy action even on good computers.

Hmmm, I don't know if this will help, but I had this problem with Super Crate Box. It was fixed when I plugged in and used my Xbox 360 controller. Maybe try that?

I am suddenly getting slow down too. Played quite a bit round christmas time and everything was fine but now every time I start a game it runs at 60fps but slowly drops until its unplayable. Using the 360 controller but also tried without and no difference.

Fixed! I updated my nvidia drivers and the problem has gone away!
