How to Port Forward Without Hamachi (Windows 7/8)

I noticed that a lot of people are having trouble hosting games so they can play with friends. I found a video on YouTube that helped a lot. I do not take responsibility for any damage you cause your network from your own ignorance. Please do your research before altering ANY settings for your network.

Before you start:
-Do NOT change any settings on a network that does not belong to you, or that you do not have permission to work on.
-If you do not feel 100% comfortable altering your network setting, please DO NOT try this. Find a different way to host a game that doesn't include you possibly catostrophically destroying your home network. For instance, have your friend host the game instead.

What you need:
-You need to be an administrator on your computer.
-You need the username/password to your router. Every router is NOT created equal, so when you are looking through your router's settings, the port forwarding settings may be in a different location than in the video. Look around and stop being lazy about it.
