Cant Join Mid Game

just wondering if this is an issue on my end or if you really cannot join part way through a game?

ive been playing the game for a few hours now with my friends, weve had no problem connecting. but there was a hiccup and i lost connection to host, and ive tried to rejoin, this has happened twice now and just wondering if its something i can fix?

I don't think you can you reconnect, after disconnection

you can only join when the game is in lobby. It sucks kinda but you just have to deal with it.
