[SOLVED] Xbox 360 controller not working

Hi I have a problem, I just buy Risk of Rain and installed it without any problems, and even in the game menu my controller works fine. It's reconnized in the option menu and " Enable Controller " is ON. The fact is, when I'm in game, the controls are messed up.

For example: when I want to move my character to the left, I have to press the Y button instead of the Left with my analog. I have tried to remap the buttons but it does nothing. Also I've tried my controller on others games like Darks Souls II, Speed Runners etc and it works perfectly..

I have seen it could be a problem with an xbox_drv or I don't now but mine's updated. So I don't know, hope you can help me pls

Hey I found the solution. Too bad nobody helped me.. So for the anyone else having a trouble with his controller here's the solution:

In your game folder there is a file named : "Prefs.ini". You can acces your game folder by right clicking on the icon of Risk of Rain => properties => Folder Emplacement.

After your get to your folder, open the Prefs.ini file and erase everything you have in it. After done that copy past all of that in your file:

Aaaannnd save.
Relaunch the game, verify that the game controller option is " on " and start playing :D
PS: if you don't see the Prefs.ini, reinstall the game and it should be back. Also verify that the Microsoft Driver XBOX 360 is not installed on your computer it can mess up the the file.

Tested on a Microsoft Xbox360 wired controller.

I did this, but my controller still doesn't work. I'm on Linux, so I wonder if that's my problem, as I know that there are quite a few problems with the Linux version.
