Report a translation problem
- Make sure you aren't missing any old important updates in windows update.
- Install Visual C++ 2010[www.microsoft.com].
- Choose the x86 one if you're on a 32bit system and the x64 on if you're on a 64bit system.
- Still not fixed? Try installing XNA Framework.[www.microsoft.com]
- Try deleting Prefs.ini from your RoR installation folder which would probably be:

Before this, controller was not working properly, first nothing, then had to press a while climbing down. had no ini files, save etc... those were fixed with these heavensends.
after this had problem with video, only black screen, two options there, press alt + enter while in game but black screen, for window mode (alters fullscreen and window mode) and play on window, ooor in my case vertical sync ON and it worked on fullscreen aswell. if you cant reach game with altenter, try modifying options from ini file prefs.ini.
And as I have been wondering in interwebzorwonderland, some people have issues if steam cloud is on with this game.

I just got a new computer and had no idea why my save file was not working.
No. 4 fixed it!
