Teleporter on the 'Risk of Rain' level?!

i've been playing for about 80 mins, and i'm on the 'Risk of rain' level. Because i've gotten several jetpacks and photonpacks (the ones that you hold down to fly upwards for a short while) as well as 3 hopoo feathers. In the 'Risk of rain' level, in the very top left of the map, (literally in the air) there is a teleporter. Has anyone else seen this before? it has invisible walls below it, and going of map for a second respawns me at my spawn in the level. After many attempts i've managed to get onto the invisible platform but there are no teleporter buttons displayed.

TL;DR: weird teleporter on the one level which doesn't have a teleporter. any ideas of a) if anyone's seen this before AND/OR b) can i glitch the game to a testmap or something if i do something?

Weird. Since this is the only level without a normally accessible teleporter, maybe the devs needed to put one in and had to hide it?

That would make sense, but unless they program the teleport options on a different "layer", i don't understand why the buttons weren't appearing =/
