What now?

I put the game aside for a bit, and now I'm not sure what to do. The last Journal entry is from Luc, telling me to meet him at the Slaughterhouse. There's nobody there to talk to, so I may have even done that mission. But there's no pin on the map or any quest givers. I ran around town blowing stuff up and shooting Nazis, which is always fun, but I'd also like to move the story along.

For clarification, what chapter does it say you were on if you check the save file after saving?
I've had this once myself recently and the best way to fix it was to save and reload the save. Then the next main mission marker showed up.
Or, stick around in a safe place and wait for messengers to show up, which usually don't take long. It's usually not mandatory to wait for messengers.

Last completed mission is Deutchland Uber Phallus. I've been running around taking out Free Play targets, and nobody has brought me a message.
I'll try the save n' reload thing.

FWIW, I guess I finished the game. I just looked up a walkthru, and it says that once you have the Executioner Pistol, the story is over, and all that's left is achievements and blowing up Free Play targets. Seemed really short, story-wise, given the massive number of targets left, and there are a couple of weapons I haven't unlocked.

Anyway, it was fun for a bit, and I def got my $8 worth.
