A walk in the dark is definitely a challenging platformer, this is nice because nowadays games are made too easy and not challenging anymore. I like that you can play both the cat and the girl, and that the gameplay is different for both of them.

Nevertheless, sometimes I feel like I died when I shouldn't have because I can see that I wasn't on a spike, I was close enough but not touching it but the game registered as if I was on it, so I get why some people on the reviews find this game frustrating for this reason.

It depends on how you perceive it, I personally don't mind. I like the atmosphere and if my character has to die x times on a level, its even more rewarding when I finally succeed.
