Denuvo = Disappointing - A Call to Arms Response towards release.
Seems like it's going to end up like how Sonic Team Racing did from the looks of it.

My suggestion: Send Emails to Sega imploring them to not input Denuvo into their games and instead just ship it out normally. They will get much more favorable sales that way.

1 to 100 emails = No Response / Automated A.I response to general link to their FAQ

101 to 1K emails = notice from their promotional & social teams to send word to their higher ups. Still not as effective but lights a fire under their butts.

1,001 - 10K emails before release. The notice is there and the demand is slightly staggering. The higher ups will see this as a voice of demand and may consider it to either buckle down with the Denuvo for release or obey consumer demands.

10,001 - 500,000 outrageous emails being sent to SEGA that crashes their system and put on way of a Ticketed service for their support. Either they make a general statement at this point as to WHY they insist on putting Denuvo protection into their products to the chagrin of majority of their playerbase or they respond in kind to not anger the consumers and their profit margins and remove Denuvo from not only Sonic Racing CrossWorlds (SRCW) but other Sega & Atlus affiliated games as well.

When sending the emails to SEGA I BESEECH not to use A.I Automatic lettering. Moreover speak with your hearts and type how you feel about Denuvo and how it affects your gaming online and offline. By side-effects to stuttering to inaccessibility of your paid product of a license you rightfully claimed.

If and only if the community band together on this goal. I'm sure we could start a movement of some kind that is pro-consumer.

Thank you.

Denuvo tried to convince us gamers that they are not a bad company which was a failure.
And of course this is the kind of thing that makes the gaming community look bad. Harassment is never justified against other people.

For the few that were constructive, there was actually significant insight, and it appears they are even looking into improving Proton compatibility to reduce the likelihood of exhausting activations.

what's wrong with multiplayer achivements?
Multiplayer games often have dead lobbies past the initial 3 months of release which then you have to formulate discord groups to try to beseech others to play with you just to get a game up. Ever more so if there is an achievement regarding *Friends* not everyone is friendly and not everyone would be helpful in helping to achieve some multiplayer achievements.

This is what happened with Sumos Studios' Team Sonic Racing "A friend in Need is a friend indeed" achievement/trophy.

It is like pulling teeth for late adopters of the racing games if the Fanbase move on from it since racing games tend to get stale after 3+ months since release.

People streaming it don't happen to help either neither.
I managed to get 99% of achievements in Transformed some four years after release in 700~ online races, 9/10 which were in full lobbies.
If the game is good people will play it.

I still consistently find active lobbies for Transformed to this day. I also appreciate that game only having 2 online achievements, both of which are super easy to get. Simply winning 1 online race and picking random in an online race is enough to get all the online multiplayer achievements in Transformed. :SuperSonic:

Transformed is more popular than Team Sonic Racing. It would be easier to pop those two achievements.

I would have bought this, but I won't buy anything that has Denuvo.

Is there any truth to the first part of your sentence? I'm sure there are multiple people here that were never interested in this game but plenty interested in spamming up this forum.

Why would he make his way to this game's discussions and locate this thread if he wasn't interested in buying it? What an odd thing to doubt.

It's a forum in which people can openly voice their concerns towards the release May it be for better or for worse. One voice alone doesn't change a lot. But once that same voice of concern is shared amongst masses in an concerted effort. Change may be had.

People may have interest in the game fully upon the trailer but when they see the Denuvo is tacked on for the PC version they might consider saving their money for a non-Sega game instead.

In order for businesses to remain in good favor with most consumers they ought to build their brand loyalty and produce content that is fun, new experiences, and more over worth the initial investment of paying for it.

People's values in games differ from one another but the premise is the same. If people don't like a product they vote with their wallets. Lack of buyer demand means lower profit for the company and those that invest profit shares within Sega.

Thus, focus groups, feedback surveys, joint broadcasts and all in all fan collaboration within Official Sega circles is needed to promote to Garner hype towards it.

It's a double edged sword too. Show off too much and the magic disappears and people will consider the title just another kart/racing game which is a dime a dozen.

:momoyawn:

Do voice your concerns productively in a positive manner and do not fight amongst yourselves please. I would like this thread to be one to benefit all not just the players but also SEGA as well to make their title better upon the feedback listed within this thread.

Why don't moderators merge all the duplicate threads?

The only problem with trying to take that position is that, the person you are saying it about isn't interested in discussion and just wants the threads deleted because they don't agree.

I agree with you. Did you mean to reply to someone else?

What I took from it is, they were wanting to limit arguing with someone that's only here to flame and argue.

Yes, I own Sonic AllStars Racing Transformed on multiple platforms (15 hrs played on steam) and had a blast. A friend told me there was a new one coming out and since I dont have modern consoles steam would be the way to play this time around.

It's a point of principle. I wouldn't install Limewire or the Ask Jeeves toolbar on my PC and I see Denuvo as a similar level of crapware.

Other games I played earlier games of but not sequels because they havent removed Denuvo:
LiS 2 (despite being 7 years old still has denuvo) & Double Exposure (bought BtS after they removed Denuvo)
Two Point Campus & Museum
Dead Rising remaster
Dead Rising 4
Sonic Origins (bought Mania after they removed Denuvo)
South Park FbH

I simply will not pay money to be treat worse than console players.

Also don't appreciate the Brony inferring I'm only here to kick off a flame war. Some of us have dignity.

I'd still rather have Denuvo DRM than being forced to pay for the online multiplayer like you do on consoles. :gembag:
