For the few that were constructive, there was actually significant insight, and it appears they are even looking into improving Proton compatibility to reduce the likelihood of exhausting activations.
If the game is good people will play it.
It's a forum in which people can openly voice their concerns towards the release May it be for better or for worse. One voice alone doesn't change a lot. But once that same voice of concern is shared amongst masses in an concerted effort. Change may be had.
People may have interest in the game fully upon the trailer but when they see the Denuvo is tacked on for the PC version they might consider saving their money for a non-Sega game instead.
In order for businesses to remain in good favor with most consumers they ought to build their brand loyalty and produce content that is fun, new experiences, and more over worth the initial investment of paying for it.
People's values in games differ from one another but the premise is the same. If people don't like a product they vote with their wallets. Lack of buyer demand means lower profit for the company and those that invest profit shares within Sega.
Thus, focus groups, feedback surveys, joint broadcasts and all in all fan collaboration within Official Sega circles is needed to promote to Garner hype towards it.
It's a double edged sword too. Show off too much and the magic disappears and people will consider the title just another kart/racing game which is a dime a dozen.
Do voice your concerns productively in a positive manner and do not fight amongst yourselves please. I would like this thread to be one to benefit all not just the players but also SEGA as well to make their title better upon the feedback listed within this thread.
Yes, I own Sonic AllStars Racing Transformed on multiple platforms (15 hrs played on steam) and had a blast. A friend told me there was a new one coming out and since I dont have modern consoles steam would be the way to play this time around.
It's a point of principle. I wouldn't install Limewire or the Ask Jeeves toolbar on my PC and I see Denuvo as a similar level of crapware.
Other games I played earlier games of but not sequels because they havent removed Denuvo:
LiS 2 (despite being 7 years old still has denuvo) & Double Exposure (bought BtS after they removed Denuvo)
Two Point Campus & Museum
Dead Rising remaster
Dead Rising 4
Sonic Origins (bought Mania after they removed Denuvo)
South Park FbH
I simply will not pay money to be treat worse than console players.
Also don't appreciate the Brony inferring I'm only here to kick off a flame war. Some of us have dignity.
