What am I doing wrong?
ive ridden snowmobiles all my life and its almost impossible to keep the sled from digging a hole and burying the sled. ive tried feathering the throttle and still i have no control. the sleds to me are just not controllable will this be addressed at launch? please give us an area to learn on just dont throw us into a mountain full of trees.

Do you have auto steer on? and leaning forward while starting will help get the sled on top of the snow. One quick full throttle followed by getting on the gas slowly while leaning forward. Once you figure it out you'll have no issues.

I have auto steer on , if I’m in the open it’s fine but I just can’t steer around a tree. I’ve tried leaning and feathering the throttle and still I have no control in the woods .

Getting stuck on trees will always cause you to sink just something to be aware of, the tree riding is skill that has to be learned and ive noticed if youre able to hold the sled at halfish throttle then slightly easier to weave in and out of the trees.. does need a little work tho

thats where time comes in man. everyone is like that at the start, just keep practising. learn on the polaris ones too imo they are more stable

I have the same feeiling! Only way to steer this "thing" is to balance a body, steer does NOTHING! And to start ride is kinda miracle, no t to make flip! constant forward left stick! This Demo instead of encourage me to buy this, made me put this game on ignore list! And game made me angry instead of relax!!!

Holy crap I figured it out , the trees are still a nightmare but ripping around doing back flips and hitting big jumps is crazy fun.

I agree that at the moment learning curve is quite steep. But if you keep trying you will nail it.

You steer by balancing your body. Just like in real life. With skis, you don't steer. Instead do counter-steer. (When you want to turn to the left, lean your body to the left, and steer the skis to the right)

Also, choose the longest sled to begin with. It doesn't dig a hole so easily.

I can skiing IRL, so I know how it works... Here really it made me angry/frustrated...
And I didn't know that I can change sled in Demo... There should be the easiest one chosen by default... Maybe, just maybe I will make another try...
How I wished I would have got so far as to leaning. I'm suck at start. No matter how slow or fast I try to accelerate nothing happens. I just dig in even further,

Ive driven a lot of snowmoviles and this is nothing like that.

How do I reset because this can't be the game. I've tried going slow, I've tried janking and jerking.

I drive multiple snowmobiles IRL just file, one of them a Firecat.

I just get digged down at start. I would handle snow better on my Evin Rude 340 than than the game handle me.

Yeah all that but I still can't go backwards on a machine built for it.

I don't ride them in real life but imo the snow is too deep. The snow physics seem great for bottomless snow however.
