Unlock all weapons, gear, abilities and trooper types

A few of you have commented that you feel the star system is limiting. I don't recommend using this tip as it could OP your game alittle and will also unlock a steam achievement. But for those who want it...

Use a text editor like Notepad++ to edit the following files.


Open the following file

...\My Documents\KillHouseGames\DoorKickers\unlocked.xml

Replace all contents with the following to unlock the gear

You could also just grind the fastest campaign missions and get 3 stars each time, they don't seem to go away after resetting the campaign. System seems fine as it is. Not too easy that you'd unlock everything in a few minutes but not too hard that it feels like a grind to get them in 10 hours.

Would like to see better skill paths though.

My computer crashed and killed my roster.xml, so I'm trying to recreate my squad as closely as possible, can anyone explain how the field skills work, and which variables affect the game?

Do stars unlock equipment for everybody and in unlimited quantities or it's unlocked for that particular person?

press shift+command+g then type /Users/(the name of the account you are logged into on your mac)/Library/Application Support/DoorKickers :)
