Any chance of a female character model (and more portraits)??

I'm having a blast with the game right now and I noticed, while editing my squad, that there seemed to be a lack of female character portraits with only 3 or 4 available to use. I've also noticed that they have the same in game voice and model as the male soldiers and I do realize that a majority of our armed forces are of the male gender, I believe that it would be appreciated to have more females in game.

I'm sorry I just find it very immersion breaking when I know my character is female but hear a guy's voice radioing in.

I could find only 1 masked female face, and it's weird that she has a brutal guy's voice. :)

But it might be more realistic not to have women at all. A question to the people from the USA: are there women in SWAT assault teams? I mean, not just as a political formality.

True. I just find it extremely immersion breaking when the women on my team "reply" to me with a rough masculine voice.

Initially we didn't want to have any female voices/portraits in the game, since our budget didn't allow for a second voice set. But then a girl purchased a price tier which included her portrait in the game :)

Now we're stuck with a couple of girl portraits but only male voices

If we add women officers in a future add-on, it will probably be done in a proper way, with different models and voices, but for now we'll only have male voices unfortunately...

Let's be honest, but don't you guys know anybody who would do it for free ? Like your wifes or something.

We're from Romania, when we speak English we all sound like Borat :)

But, let's be honest, there would be no implication of satire, at all, because this would be the legitimate way that they speak and converse in the English language. I think that this would be similar to when anyone does the "fake" Russian voice compared to a Russian who speaks in English and sounds like a "fake" Russian in that because you know that it is an actual Russian guy, therefore, is not in bad taste since that is how he/she actually sounds like.

And ? Your wife could be a " Female U.S S.W.A.T officer with Romanian backround " There is nothing wrong with some accent. You could go to the University and ask somebody.

Well, my fiancee is British if that helps. You can contact me if you need her voice. I don't want money for it, I just want my face as menue backround in Door Kicker's so everyone has to see my face when joining the game. And I want an ingame character which is also me.

I find it extremely immersive breaking to have any women on a swat team or something similar, completely ruined xcom for me.

BTW, for some strange reason, you almost cannot hear Russians talking English in games or films, the only example off the top of my head is Oleg Taktarov in the Battlefield 3/4 and a bunch of films. Most of Russians are played by American actors, who imitate only the Russian pronunciation, and do it with the American accent; so you can easily distinguish them from the actual Russian actors. :) [a good example] Like if Hollywood couldn't afford to hire Russian actors...
