Great to know, thanks!
Raising hype.... If my Samsung Note 10.1 will run it I surely buy it. (Yes, I know that will be the same of the pc version but I want be able to play it everywhere everytime I want :) )
Great news!
Yes, yes... but it's only 36 days far from Christmas. I still can dream...
Are you guys gonna do what FTL did? Release the game with all the same content but only on tablets? I got an iPad Mini recently with the hope of games like Door Kickers being released on tablets.
Ideally, yes, but some of the bigger levels might prove too much for the tablets technical limitations. We'll see.
While it certainly would be nice to be in that position, I don't think it would happen. For one, regarding "owning the game on Steam" we have no control over it so there's no way for us to verify if somebody bought the game directly on steam(and thus give him the game on mobiles).
Other than that there's also some logistic issues with Apple, for example ... as developer you can't AFAIK just give games as gift. Or you can, but you basically have to pay Apple's share.
Still not decided on the exact model for the release on handhelds - at the moment we're focused on making the interface work and the game fun :)
I would love it if you could avoid a microtransaction model though. Just price it like a game and provide a full experience. Tablets are getting so handy these days that the best games are the ones that you pay 10-15 bucks for a full experience.
But I was thinking about something like cross-platform, with stats and progression campaing available across both platforms.
Somewhat linked by Steam, which would have "justified" no new buying.
Sorry for that, I will still surely by it if realeased on Tablet :)
I can only echo this statement. I really enjoy your game, and I'd love an Android release, but I'm only really interested if there's a way I can buy everything at once without needing to pay for unlocks/faster progression.
