Challenges
I think the challenge objectives should be removed, the idea of making one plan is nice but it can ruin the experience of completionists.

I have an urge to do the challenges but it ends up making the game feel more boring and it really screws with my OCD if I don't do the challenge. Doing everything in one plan removes the idea of thinking on the fly and using one guy makes many levels hyper difficult.

I would prefer them more if they gave a distinct and noticeable reward if they have to be kept.

Sorry if this was a bit of a ramble, that's generally what happens when I speak.

So let me get this straight, if they gave you an unique reward it would be better because a) you would feel motivated to do them or b) you wouldn't care about the reward in question?

A, it would give more reason than just my OCD.

Just wanting to complete everything in a game and being frustrated that you're unable to do so doesn't mean you have OCD... Unless it really messes up your daily routine and makes you think about it constantly even after you stopped playing it doesn't count as an obsession.

A friendly advice, find a way to deal with your problem rather than avoiding it. The world is a b*tch and doesn't care about your needs. ;)

Extra XP is kinda meh in my opinion. It should be a noticeable boost and show you the boost after the mission so there is a feeling of accomplishment or an item.

Also why is there the one man challenge on the missions where you are forced to use two (the starting levels)?

The problem it creates is that my brain says I have to do the challenge and that means I can't focus on the main part game itself quite as much, kinda hard to describe.

It's been debated in the past years that games with unlockables (and other stuff that the player receives for playing) actually shift the player's focus from "this gameplay is fun" to playing for the next reward. Moreso, once the rewards are done, the player has his challenge-reward loop broken and he can't play without it.

Heck, used to play CounterStrike a lot, back when it was just a mod with a couple of weapons you bought and absolutely no persistence.

There are of course some advantages to having unlockables.

I hope that we will see different challenges for every map or some variety and not always the same 3 challenges on all maps.
