Does mobility affect aiming speed?

My pointer always moves a tad faster than my assulter (which makes it difficult to syncroinize trooper moements) so I am considering giving her heavier armor to lower her mobility. However, realistically this will also lower her aiming speed. I cannot find any information about the exact effect of mobility beyond its effect on movement speed. I hope someone on the forum will have the answer. Thank you for your help in advance.

Pointmen only use pistols wich are much faster to aim than the long guns that the assulters primarily use.

I understand that. What I am asking is whether lower mobility leads to lower aiming speed, regardless of the class chosen.

It doesn't seem to. If it does, it's too small a difference for me to notice.
