Question about aiming
Hello, people. I've recently bought this game and, while I'm loving it, I need some help with a certain aspect of the game.
If you keep pressing the right mouse button you can choose where your solider aims. That's great, but if he's moving he'll then start looking forward after a second or so. I find this unconvenient, because it's a really useful tactic when you need to cover angles - in Frozen Synapse, for example, you can move while aiming in a certain direction, which is really useful. You can do that here, too, but only for a second before the soldier starts looking in the direction he's walking in.
My question is... is there any way to not make them turn? Am I too stupid to figure it out or is that not how the game works?
Sorry if I haven't been clear enough, english's not my primary language.

Draw path, then right click on the drawn path instead of the soldier. You should see an arrow extending out from the path. Make lots of these.

Yeah, that's what I do. I wanted to know if there was a way to not make the soldier automatically turn forward after a second, but I guess the only solution is to do it again and again.

That's pretty much the only solution!

Just right click and drag. The soldier will strafe.

If you press CTRL while drawing the arrow, the trooper will keep looking in that direction until another arrow overwrites the previous command. The permanent arrow is colored blue.
