PC vs Android + Cross-Platform Multiplayer
So I have been looking into this game and it looks really good. I first found it on Android and had been searching for a long while for a game that isn't full of micro transactions and require you to wait for things to finish or to replenish turns/life/whatever to make you try and pay for unecessary things.

Anyways, I have a 2-in-1 laptop that can be used as a tablet, I have my PC I use for gaming and my Samsung S8+, but I wanted to know what the best platform to get it on is and if I am able to play it on the other platforms without having to purchase both the steam and android versions.

Also I have a buddy I play a lot of games with and was wondering if we could do co-op if say I had gotten the android version for my phone and he had the steam version for his laptop/computer.

I wanna get the game and if I have to get both copies and I am able to play and transfer on whatever device im on that is fine but what is the best device to get it on first.

Thanks, I tried to find answers before posting a new discussion but couldn't find anything specific to this bases off keyword searches.

The best platform is definitely PC, and a 2in1 laptop tablet combo should allow you to try both the touch interface and the mouse one. Of the PC versions, definitely get the Steam one, as its the only one that has coop multiplayer - mp uses steam for now.

The PC and Android purchases are normally separate, though the Android one is quite much cheaper. I would personally advise against playing the game on a 6" phone - its really meant for tablets, but many players do play on such, so it's your call. In that case, you should get the game directly from us: http://inthekillhouse.com/doorkickers/#dk1buy so you get both a steam key and the android version as direct, drm-free .apk download, which you can afterwards install.

You can manually export the save game from one device and import it on the other, but this needs to be done manually. But if you play on Steam Windows on multiple computers, Steam should handle the profile transfer, via cloud.

Hope this helps.

Edit: damn i was a bit late. What Vulpe Nebuna said.

If you will buy the game directly from official site, with 5$ you will get both Steam and Android versions: http://inthekillhouse.com/doorkickers/#dk1buy

Unfortunately, coop you can play only on Steam, but on single player you can export the saves from one version to another.

So if I am understanding you correctly, buying from the website directly will give me a steam key and an apk download for my phone?
