tangos hear the noise of fallen bodies.
It depends also from which weapons you used.
Tazer is the less lousiest weapon in the arsenal.
See how stealth gameplay works in this very small map:

I havnt made a video but like on map 4 on terrorist cell (just gotten there) even if i go in stealth and take out the guys in the first building everyone in the 2nd building across the map knows im there which results in 10 guys with SMGs sniping me from across the map :P
wtih the one video seen earlier from axios, i've just blasted through about 20 of those missions in one go. stealth i honestly have not ran across just yet, neither have i used tasers, but i'm certain this will happen soon enough.
edit: just did a mission with tasers exclusively. got all 6 suspects arrested on a single mission, the first one i ran across that offers that amount.
So if you take them out using tazers the other building will notice what occurs? Why?
I dont know why, thats why im asking ;P
But yes it does not seem to work 100% as it "should", been playing around with tazers / suppressors and to be honest i dont understand anything anymore... :P
I armed half my team with tazers and the rest with honeybadger SD, i took out a patroling thug with tazer outside a house and they heard it.
I retried this 10 times and everytime it alerted the rest of the map, so i tried to shoot him instead and that didnt alert anyone......
Both attempts i started at same spot, same crew and same plan. So i dunno what makes it stealth or not anymore, guess it is just based on luck or what item you use for that one certain enemy.
And it does not need to be full stealth let them come and then taser them!
Try and different plan with tazers and what mission or campaign is it?
a tazer also makes some noise as well, the inserted electrodes snapping with electrical charge on a target, plus the recharge in the tazer itself.
no gun can completely eliminate the "bark" with a silencer, it can only reduce the noise but that depends on how accurate the shooter is, the noise of the falling body depending on the floor and how quiet the silenced gun is and if a bad guy is close enough to hear it. i mean if one of the bullets hits some objects behind the target then it wouldn't matter how quiet the gun is.
also windows when they shatter make a lot of noise, so hopefully door kickers 2 has a glass cutter in place for one of the squad to shoot through the hole in the glass at a target.
what would be more helpful is more "less than lethal" guns in the inventory like beanbag shotguns and rubber bullet rifles both with silencer attachments. get even more tactical on stealth or the ability not to spill blood but to knock out hostiles from the fight all match. but levels will have to be designed in such a way not to alert the bad guys the moment they hear things out of place, even a simple lockpicking they can hear.
so at this point you'd be lucky to get any stealth play going.
that enitrely depends on the factors mentioned. as for those potential ideas? i'm sure there are mods out there on the workshop you can get those types of weapons if you want. look em up.
hopefully.
In vanilla game, rubber bullets are only in stun grenade.
In mods, they should be present in the mod that I posted in the other thread.
Yeah i can make a recording alittle later today, have to redo the campaign to get to that mission again (i think).
Also you most of the time split the groups up, but you cant spawn everywhere on the map. It gives you 1-3 spawn locations depending on what map your playing. Sometimes you only get 2 guys and 1 spawn location, sometimes a full team of 8 guys and 2-3 spawn locations e.t.c so the mission i was talking about only lets you spawn on 2 locations at the first building.
And the guys i was talking about wasnt really snipers, they where just regular thugs with SMG's but their aim is pretty intense compared to my guys with m4's :P Sometimes you dont even see them across the map but still they full auto and drop your guys from across the map with their SMG's :P
But iwe finished all the campaigns with 3 stars on each mission but i just miss a more stealthy approach to it. Just dont feel like the stealth is really well implemented in the game, but its still a good game though and im looking forward to DK2 but hopefully they will have improved the stealth part ;)
