Plans for full-controller support?
Would be fun to play from the couch.

I can think of several ways to make a good control scheme for this game on a gamepad or console-style controller. I don't know how necessary it is when you could just get a cheap wireless mouse and keyboard and play on the couch though.

That not so much a challenge as a sheer cliff. In Toribash, you need to click on joints to do stuff, which with advanced moves, you can't do on a controller in time, so you would just end up with a noob clap epidemic, simply because people who are actually good don't have time to click on everything with an analog stick.

Competent implementation of an analog stick controlling the cursor can do pretty well. Alternatively they could have highlights on the joints/muscles which you can shift between with one of the sticks instead of a free-select cursor, which would smooth out the process pretty well if it was implemented properly. The latter would be the better method, but would also be more difficult to program.

Ow, I didn't knew that, I don't play any games without controller support (CS GO being the only acception ;) ).
