why do my friends hate toribash?

Most of my friends refuse to play as well. Some refuse to even finish the tutorial because they get overwhelmed. Not sure what all the aversion is for

i found that most of the time its the reaction time or too many total turnframes that makes them bored. find a faster paced mode. i feel like newer players like boxshu because the ghost lies less since more frames happen each turn

honestly i think my friend has the attention span of a goldfish, so if nothing crazy happens in 5 seconds then he gets bored

it's the same reason most people don't like fighting games. Game is complex and takes time and effort to get into, and most people will just go back to playing their simple games like shooters and sports games that have a very simple learning curve at the start.
