login error for toribash

I go buy something it says this password is 283 days old I enter a new password I go play online it says not connected I try a few more time it says login failed please check your username and password how can I fix this I need some help

im having this same issue. cant connect to online servers after "fixing" password issue

Log out. Close Toribash.
Re-open Toribash, re-enter your log-in details fresh.

I think it's something to do with how the game retains your log-in details, and how it trips over itself when you reset/change them. I found that closing Toribash and re-entering the details cleared it up, but I do remember having to struggle with it a little before it really took.
