How do I download mods?
I've seen people playing toribash on actual MAPS, not just a white background. I'd really like to be able to do so. Help?

What you're referring to isnt Mods, you're talking about Shaders, they can be found in Set Up -> Utils -> *Shaders*, Go Crazy ;D

No I am talking about mods. ie: footmod, different maps, and what you were talking about

you get pre loaded ones you can access via ctrl M or by going into your Esc menue, setup, and Mods :D you can also download new mods here -> http://forum.toribash.com/tori_mod_view.php?page=1
just be sure you know what folder your putting it in or it's not going to show up.
