Daily Reward Box Won't Go Away!

Please help. When I go into a game (free play or multiplayer) the daily rewards box doesn't go away. Clicking the reward doesn't seem to claim it, and the box won't disappear (and is opaque AF).

I can get around it by going to challenge Uke - that makes it disappear. But when I hit escape and go into multiplayer, I then have a new problem - if I click anything at all, I lose all interactivity with my Tori until I restart the game. I can't z, x, or c, but I can type (from memory I can't space either, but I've not made an explicit point of checking that).

I've tried checking the game cache, a couple of files were needed. Didn't solve either problem.

There's an X button on the top right of the reward box itself.

It wasn't appearing. After restarting the game many times, the problem resolved itself. It's not the first time this has happened to me though.
