Infection Free Zone - Prologue

MODDING
I can see a lot of discussion regarding modding in th game. This sounds very promising if implemented and could boost the game experience in many ways.

What do you devs think about that?

-Extensive (supported / intended) mod support is so good for both the health and longevity of a game, especially one like this.
plus it kinda makes so much more sense.
instead of focusing on making assets etc for the game, make a sturdy base and then thousands of other people make them for free

-mod support also helps develop the game faster

Summarizing, the requests would be (as communicated by one of very insightful discord user on IFZ Discord channel Yesterday):

1) Enable the modding support
2) Create an EventsEditor as you created the MapEditor
3) Return the "EventsSystem" folder to its original place (StreamingAssets) so players can modify and create new events - to add flavor, emotion, and imagination to IFZ
4) Do a game/steam depot with the above option and pass it to players who would like to mod the game. You need 10 people and will get great value (mods, events updates, and possibly also bug fixes)
5) Share at least some dev's leaks about what you are working on or some parts of the game story or lore (some examples below)

I'll keep my PC un infected by mods thanks.
Ive seen too many terrible mods... MODS in multiplayer game are even worse.
You end up filling your drive with 'dubious quality' mods just to get in a game. Then missmatch... The server is using an old version, or a self modded version of a mod.

No thanks...
Why cant we get the game out of the door first before another idiot wants to pollute said game with mods?
if the community is big enough, there schould be a way to coordinate the efforts and evaluate the mods, pick up the best ones that actually work and enrich the game experience.

Mods are optional, falls under the freedom of choice thingy, you must hate freedom and the ability of choice.

A good start for mods would be the ability to create the many unique structures that will be overlooked with the games map generation, they may add in a few of the more well known ones but if you roll with a game like CIV 5/6 you will understand that mods that are free have brought many more landmarks/wonders to the game, making a game better visually is different then mods that let someone basically cheat.
