This is a huge money pit. EVERYTHING they stuff into this game is nothing but a money grab. Now up to 1225 States with a ton of them either dead or dying. I have 2 accounts and have been grinding as f2p for around 2 years now because some of the people you meet are actually pretty cool & I just want to see how much I can grow before I walk away for good. One state is so dead that nobody talks at all. AND - before you ask - You can NOT relocate to another state unless you are ready with a credit card and have a few months to wait.
BIG spenders, small spenders and free-to-play are all together & you know how that turns out. Yes - there are players that have spent tens of thousands - just to be a "top-dog"
Now they have come to Steam to fill their pockets even more - shame

I second the above opinion. Game was pretty fine for the first 2 years when it was out, I started out on realm 356 and that was my main for my time spent playing. Sure, a paying player would be much stronger than someone going f2p, but a balance was in place and you could defend from a whale if you wanted to, though if they'd throw money at you? You'd loose anyway, as in all f2p games.

But now? Game went from "group up to stop a whale and be happy about it" to "make sure you have enough shields to hide from whales". Most servers aka States are dead as mentioned above. Just 150-200 people hanging around, most whales who simply spent too much to back out of it now. Each and every update just makes the gap between paying people and f2p players wider and wider, and on older States you only have payers left. And eben most of those leave after a while, as there are far better games to have fun in.

Don't bother with this one, it's a waste of your time.
