Medibang crashes as soon as i open it

I just bought the program for windows (if that somehow helps), and as i said, the moment i open it, it stops responding and then crashes, it makes no sense to me as i can use the free version on my pc no problem. It should also be able to run on this one as theres no particular increase in specs as well....

My text tool occasionally crash the app?

Idk if there were any kind of updates but it's somehow functioning worse? My text tool crashes the app. It's not consistent so I assume it's somehow making the app super laggy or something?

Does medibang work on Linux?

has anyone tried it on linux/steamdeck? sites like protondb dont track compatibility with software on steam. im currently running Nobara 39 KDE and wondering if this program would run in proton compatibility mode with wine.

Help with pressure

After the last update it's not sensing my pressure. Nothing I do in settings and reinstalling isn't helping, and my drive is up to date. Anyone else having this issue???

it is pretty much the free version but with a few extra tools. also, yes more brushes are unlocked like it says!
if you've been using the free version for a long time, i'd recommend this for when it's on sale. the price is a little much for a few features, but they can be useful.

my favourite so far has been the lasso eraser lol. makes erasing much quicker!
if your device is kind of lacking in performance, be warned for potentially damaged time lapse files (if too long in time set) and the program not responding. however, i have basically a potato computer and it works just fine most of the time outside of that.

I have yet to test the onion skin feature or others, but generally it is a good buy when it's on sale! coming from someone that's used medibang since probably middle school or high school.

I've been using Medibang Paint since 2018 and recently bought the Steam version when I got a new PC, it was worth every penny. Medibang Paint is a very simple and easy to use program despite the number of features, and that's what I love about it.

However, there are still some features I wish will be added
- The canvas rotation slider from the original PC version. While it's not that inconvenient without it, it is a bit strange that this was left out
- Ability to export layers as GIF, or at least a way to choose the fps
- EDIT: And a symmetry ruler, so we're not restricted to the symmetry pen!

But overall, I'm still very satisfied with this software and would recommend to anyone who asks!
