Doorways play but stopped working in Windows 8.1 :(

I'm happened why this Doorways if play just stopped working in Windows 8.1 version. Was this Windows 8 original version opened Doorways working confirmed me, Hey if you working new update fixed Windows 8.1 for Doorways.

Hi. Please try executing Doorways directly from the game's folder as Admin (right click on the .exe -> Run as Admin). Please make me know if that fixes it.

got the same problem . but the game stop now on the change language menu , and freeze my windows folder of the game . i have to reboot each time ......

It crashes after the saibot intro plays for me. Windows 8 (not 8.1) X64

Yes I'm knew Windows 8 original version for Doorways is working confirmed I'm played. :) But latest new version for Windows 8.1 from Windows Store automatic update me.

It used to work for me a few days ago, however I don't use the windows store and I am not on 8.1 as of yet.

Have you already tried reinstalling?
I've tried to verify the cache first, which was 100% valid. Still it crashed.
But when I reinstalled it, it worked again!
