It's still in "beta", but you can play with it from start to end.
The mecanics and the scale are great for VR, too.
A couple of things, though:
- The breathing movement is not needed in the rift.. It's a bit disctracting, since we do our own movements. :-)
- I couldn't save? (Sorry if I missed this somewhere.. haven't really looked for any manual yet).
- And the big one: The Rift won't work in Linux. I just get a black screen as soon as I select it.
Pleeease fix this!!!
Other than that: At the price, it's a no-brainer for anyone with the Rift.
Simply copying that directory (with it's subfolders and libOculusPlugin.so) from a working demo, got Blocked In working perfectly with the rift - and, it turns out, same goes for Doorways!
Now I'm off to try it on every other demo and game that has given me a black screen in the past.
Saibot guys.. The fix couldn't be any easier - so please update Your Linux build with the plugin folder! :-)
FictionX/Kåre
Make me know if it works both on Linux and Mac.
Thank you.
