Wait till you get enough pity points then do a weapon draw would be the only acceptable way to go about it if you don't need the hero's.
Losing future customers to bad luck when they just want one copy of something is bad for business when you're an underdog.
I mean they already nerfed one guy just as they released another poison character sooo hopefully we don't see that again.
Would be nice if games made the first 5* on a banner into a guaranteed pull for the limited one.
Means folks can feel enticed to stick around and re-acquire them on reruns as well if they want more copies, as a slow burn and all. Or just make sure the account can always 100% a limited char's banner if the char isn't in their roster already. Same for weapons, if said banners exist.
but that would mean less money!
