I don't think emulating Genshin's gacha system exactly was a very wise idea for what is a beautiful, but destined to be niche gacha game. There's just no way they can create the sort of emotional bond and fanfare mihoyo is able to create around its characters, so the desire to pull isn't as great. But what do I know.
