How is this game?

I'm a big fan of Dragon Crown, but the reviews for this game are mixed, and not just on steam. I'm not necessarily up for PVP kinds of gameplay, or excessive "Click here for gold and remove the dot for the day" BS.

Gameplay wise its very fun, good control, good difficulty but some hitboxs are kind of inaccurate. The story is decent but nothing to write home about.
Majority of the negative reviews are the gacha aspect and rng grind at endgame.
You can just play it free for like 10-20 hours of the story (its not finish yet) and decide to continue or not.

This, i just disagree about the story, it is freaking insane and cool. Dark Fantasy at it's best. Oh, and PvP is like, SUPER fun!!!!

the game is rather good. the story is quite good nothing crazy but enjoyable. the grind only starts after you completed story to get endgame. before you finished the story you wont even really need stamina to play stages. PVP is optional although the rewards are good esp the purple tunic. you can always decide to turn on auto battle and farm the pvp rewards afk. like most poeple do xD
why not give it a shot its free anyway?

i like the game, i am f2p and so i just play and enjoy the game a lot. i am not into gacha. but i really love the game, it has nice art style, very good story [many ppl don like]. i can say that the dev put a lot of effort into the story as far as i feel [not like other games ]. there are a lot of things to do about developing a char. it would take a lot of time and effort. i enjooy much that much i can say to you.
i just dislike the arena now. it is kind of not like my style. i am more about pve than pvp.

My love for games like Dragon's Crown (big Vanillaware fan) are what brought me to this game. In all honesty, a lot of the reviews are very fair about what you should expect. There are some shady things about how the gacha's run, the way pity resets, etc., but if you're just looking for something quick to pick up and play this really isn't the worst game. It's just a generic gacha with a nice aesthetic and okay (not the best but certainly not the absolute worst) plot. If you're looking for decent and simple gameplay this is a good game. It's fun, there are a variety of good characters to collect and a decent gameplay loop. It's a gacha game but you can play it absolutely fine without spending a dime.

Best of all, it's F2P so you lose nothing by trying it out. You can get a fairly good idea of what the game will be within the first half-hour.

98% or mayb more is just farming the pvp with autocombat. so ye thats very logical if your the only one actualy playing xD
