Unpacking bowls

Hello! I played about an hour of the demo and I am loving it! However, I cannot continue it because I can't sell anything else to make make money because I cannot unpack the box of bowls I bought. I put it on the only counter in my Fruitbus like I saw you mention in another thread, but it doesn't snap to unpack or anything like that. So I just don't know what to do. I also couldn't figure out how to use the "Apple Topper" I bought?

Anyways, I want to play more! I hope you all can help!

Hi!

You need the hammer for boxes inside the truck (like bowls and cups) and the wrench/spanner for things outside the truck (like the apple topper, which also requires you to get on top of the truck to place).

We've gotten a fair few reports that it's an unclear step, and we are taking steps to ensure that it becomes waaaay more clear in the future how to actually unpack bowls and such.

Ahhh, gotcha! Well looking forward to continuing the demo then! As a suggestion, maybe you could add a little post-it note left by grandma on that first counter (maybe near the hanging knife) to make sure and open boxes with a hammer. That, or make the hammer a box cutter. I will say that it's possible to hit a hard wall if you can't afford bowls or a hammer, with no way to sell fruit and make money if you don't buy a hammer or bowls before using up yours, from what I can tell.

Definitely agree. We're looking into solutions but the post it note is a great idea ^^

As for the hard wall, you can sell individual fruits as well if you place them in the little windows underneath the serving area on your bus, so there is a way to make money if you run out of it without more bowls or a hammer. We're working on having the window system be explained in-game as well

Ahh, see I saw those little boxes and assumed they were just to "show off" what I had available eventually. I didn't try to use them for fear of wasting fruit. X3 Of course, as I played I realized I had plenty of fruit, to be fair.

Hi! I just got the game and this is still a problem. I got my first Christmas box (crate?) and I literally don't know how to open it and nothing is telling me how to open it. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to know that a wrench opens a box? I also think that's strange.

Anything that goes on the outside (possibly some decorations for the inside too, I'm not sure) of your bus requires the wrench to unpack. If you look closely you should see an image of a wrench on each of the boxes.

There is a tooltip that pops up when you first buy a flatpack for the first time and the information is found in the journal after that.

I have a question that is somewhat similar: I bought a backpack whenever i could, and now when I buy stuff, they go poof (I suspect they go to the backpack). I tried every key on my keyboard computer (R only displays the amount of coins I own) and same on the gamepad and i was never able to access the backpack. :(
