Where Did My Dough Go?
After some trial and error, I managed to bake a loaf of bread. Really pleased with the outcome, I decided to make another and use up the last of my flour, which consisted of one full bag. I added water, but just when the mixture was about to finish and turn into a lump, it simply disappeared. I have looked in my backpack and it's not there. It just seems to have poofed itself out of existence. Perhaps it jumped dimensions and is now in someone else's game instead of in mine?

Also, what do I do with all the leftover bits and pieces? I have flour bags that are now empty, along with a serving of smoothie that no one wanted. Not to mention endless the pile of gas cans! I feel awful littering everywhere, but the bins don't seem to work well, so what else do I do but dump it all?

Sometimes things just... disappear. The most problems I've had have been with wheat specifically which loves to turn invisible. Sometimes saving and reloading will make those invisible objects visible again.

I definitely resorted to littering with the flour bags.

Thanks for the response!

I was hoping it wasn't a bug and I just hadn't added enough of something to make a full loaf, but alas...

It's too late to go back in tonight, but I'll play again tomorrow and with any luck my dough will be patiently waiting for me. If it isn't, then I have a lot of scything to do!

Save your gas cans! You can fill them up again at any gas station, same as you would your truck. I personally keep two cans mounted above the back door and just refill them as needed.

I've almost given up on gas cans whether they're reusable or not. I find that regardless of the amount it says on the side, they can either fill an entire tank or barely any at all. There's no consistency.

Also, still haven't found my dough.

Just curious, how did you get the sickle. I've looked through the different stores and haven't found anything. Is it a quest reward? I've fixed the windmill but I can't serve the Mill worker their orange salad, wont walk up to the bus. I had a similar issue with the tour guide in the jungle. Just curious if I've looked over something important or not.

It's a quest reward, I just can't remember exactly who gave it to me.

This game appears to be hopelessly buggy right now, so I'm afraid I can't offer any advice. All I know is that at some point the mill worker gifts you a sickle.

ah man, must be stuck then. I've been trying to complete any other missions I can without needing dough to see if it'll trigger, but no luck so far. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon!

We're taking a look at it. Saving, quitting the game and starting again should fix this. Apologies this happened to you.

Im here struggling to make Dough
I put flour in the mixer, But I cant actually 'put' a jug of water into it.
Sure I can drop the jug into the bowl, but that does nothing it seems.
Ive also let the mixer run for couple of minutes but still nothing. :hatty:

I bought a jug just for this - same as the one you would use for the blender. Locate a well with a hand pump and place your jug underneath it. You should see a symbol for it when you have the right place. Pump the water and then take the jug back to the dough maker. Hold the jug over the bowl and it should give you an option to "pour", and there you go. Just turn it on and you should have your dough-ball, unless you're unlucky like me and it disappears.

Ive been trying with 'Smoothie' cups since you can fill them with water also..
I now just tried the Blender Jug and just managed to make a dough ball!
Thank you very much! User error at its finest :D

You can also use a gas can as the water source for dough and other things later on. Just fill up an empty one with water and you'll get 4 uses out of it.

I used to use the glass too until trying the jug. Really we could do with a jug that's obviously meant for this specific purpose to remove any confusion.

Anyone know what we do with empty flour bags?
