How to pour soup?

I made the blueberry soup but I can't figure out how to serve it. I suppose a bowl is used for it but I can't pour it into the bowl? So...how do I serve soup?

Hmm yes once the soup is ready (with yellow stars) you should be able to simply pour it into a bowl (there is a Pour action).

If restarting the game doesn't help, you may have to report this as a bug to the devs.

Thanks. It seems I prematurely stopped cooking because it does a certain sound a few times before letting out stars so I thought the sound it made meant that it was cooked.

I've made the soup and I get the yellow stars but do not get the option to pour. Also, does the soup bowl require croutons?

If it's a soup, all ingredients should be cooked in a pot as a final step. If you have placed any ingredients into the bowl prior, the game would consider it a salad or something else instead of a soup (perhaps that's why you don't see the Pour action)
