It seems like every co-op mode is broken, i can not find any co-op matches. they all time out. anyone else having a similar issue???

Use the official discord, probably there is no enough people looking for the same coop in that power level. On Discord you will find people willing to help you with any activity, there is plenty of help.

it doesn't matter what i try though. any power level and any co-op battle. no matches at all. but ill try the server, thank you.

It's not broken people just play it for the blue crystals and once they are done they are not coming back unless they are helping people out.
Event Co-op is far more active than the regular one and as TotemMX mentioned join the discord if you need a group.

I noticed this on the steam version of the game. Thought about it today, and I recall having zero issues finding players on the mobile version. My suggestion... download the mobile, link the data between both platforms and do your co-op on mobile.

It's a bit difficult to find co-op players as a new player. I spent a lot of time powering up so that I could do the higher levels of co-ops. Those, you'll never really have any problem finding matches (especially if you're doing events).
I agree with the lower levels, it's impossible to find matches if you don't do it on the first day it's been released.
Since the chat function is non-existent in-game, it's difficult to see who is online to ask for help, My advice would be to add as many friends as you can when you do get matches, then make your own lobby and invite whoever is online to try and clear the lower ones.

If you make a private lobby then go to lobby options then turn on the last option it'll match and it worked for me.

Stop bringing non-bonus into EVENT Co-op matches (that has bonuses enabled) after 1st day.
