If it is... What's the point of now buying it on steam? This and the Flash game look pretty similar in many, many ways.

Then they released Dino Run SE in 2010.

Now check out the roadmap for Dino Run DX, which is the Steam version:

As you can see, there are lots of differences, both in the present and for the future.

What gwelty said. DX is vastly improved over the free version. It looks similar though, most of the improvements are in scope and content.
