FHE01 Error

FYI, if you are seeing the FHE01 error and you are trying to use the new steam controller, try using a different controller. I had this issue and went back to my old controller and the game is able to launch without crashing

I saw some issues with Sim wheels and this error code.

Installing Xbox Extended Feature Support Driver worked for my issue with the Steam Controller

I forgot to mention that when I was initially getting the error when trying to use the steam controller I tried validating the game and rebooted a few times just in case and it would end up with the same error. I think the game has some issue with non-standard controllers like the steam controller and sim wheels.

I'm getting it as well, played for 25mins then crashed. Now pops up everytime after intro, already tried all the remedies that i've found via google. Just gonna refund for now

I was using my xbox controller for 25mins and this error randomly popped up. restarted the game and now its come up after intro everytime. I've tried starting game with controller, keyboard etc un-plugged and still got the error. 4080super and a 5700x3d

Verifying files on steam didn't work for me, I use a PS5 controller, I tried "emulating it" as a Xbox360, still crashed. Rebooted PC twice, no changes. Sucks because I played for 6 hours before lol

i could start the game and play the intro and got this error after i select my first car.
Since then, i cant leave the startscreen . . . .
