Progression toward Golden Wristband
I've done all Dirt races, i've done all Circuit races, and i've done more than half of the absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cross-country content, but i'm only slightly beyond halfway to getting the wristband.
i've done more than half the danger signs, all of the drift signs, more than half of the speed traps and speed zones, and yet i am still missing a good chunk of points.

my hate toward cross country races is genuine, i cannot stand all the braindead jumps, the braindead buggies and jeeps and offroad vehicles that drive like tanks, there is no fun for me to be had here, whatsoever.

why are the touge and street races not contributing to Horizon points?
why is there such a huge emphasis on jumping around in japan in ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ buggy trashcans?

any ideas on how to grind out Horizon Points quickly without doing that crappy content?

Find the bonus boards and mascots as the XP from them contributes. Regarding the Street races and Touge not included: The Wristband is the Horizon festival and Street racing (and here Touge) are "illegal" activities and therefore not sanctioned by the festival organisers thus can't contribute. It's always been this way with the FH games
Go to your Collection Journal and check the Horizon Festival section to see where you're leaving points on the table. Road, dirt, and cross country racing make up the bulk of the stuff you can grind for actively, but if you only need a bit more you can do Rivals, Bonus Boards, or grind Horizon Play. Horizon Life Events (so drag meets and time trials in free roam) also give a solid amount of points.

but jumping off ramps and flying 500 metres and destroying entire rice fields is fine, i ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ guess.

so stupid ..
hope they re-think their stupid approach to these games.
I progressed to gold by doing bonus boards and mascots first while finding all the roads and areas.
Then I did the traps/zones/trailblazers and then did a handful of dirt/rally events ... got the gold!

I still have event races, traps/zones/trailblazers to complete too

it's time to farm, it's going to take a while, though.
LOL, first time? i posted about the lack of races in this game before its normal release date, because i ran out of races to do that progressed me towards the gold band. i still had about 8700 points needed to get the gold wristband.......... you'll get there. also, it helps to tune the differentials and suspension on the vehicles to get them handling how you want, because every vehicle handles differently.
I did everything as I unlocked them, including all the pr events and by the time I got to purple wristband I already had enough points to unlock gold. I also did all roads/bonus boards/mascots

that's alot of stuff done, not bad!
it's kind of a bit more difficult and takes a bit longer on a sim rig but i'll do my best i guess.
it's the cross-country stuff that i genuinely dislike the most.

I started with early access, the cross country races aren’t as well done as fh5

I have a stationary rig ... for me the hardest part was drifting till I got the Simucube dialed in the way I like.
What I found that has helped a lot was to grab a controller and let it rest in my lap (it rested perfect on top of my leg) and when I needed to take a picture or do other things in the menu I used the controller. And like I said at the start the hardest part was getting drifting nailed down so, I just drifted with the controller (ezpz)

i had alot of practice in AC with mods on my current rig, so drifting was straight forward and easy for me on FH6.
i just sit at my desk to grind the cross-country races with a controller, less stressful that way.

they feel out of place and unfun in FH6 for sure.
