Bass Sheet Music from mp3 and .wav files using Editor
So I'm interested in this product , but wanted to test it first.

I'm interested mostly in basslines. I've tried the free trial editor demo with a variety of mp3 and .wav files with the hopes of seeing the editor (as stated on the s2s website) analyze the bass information and hopefully yield sheet music with the bassline...but when selecting the bass instrument , the sheet music generally is clearly on based on the melody - and/or is just way wrong (ie not at all what bass is playing the song - even with extremely simple blues type progression songs).
So 2 questions:
1) Am I misinterpreting the capabilities of the editor? (my interpretation and desire is to put in an mp3 or .wav file - and yield bass sheetmusic and/or tab) - and/or doing something wrong?
2) If it is possible to do what I hope, can someone (specifically the devlopers would be optimal, but if anyone has done so) - produce and publish a youtube video of exactly that ability?

Editor seems pretty useless, it can't even correctly import MusicXML or Guitarpro tabs.

Better yet, can we stay on my topic? Songquito - since you are a dev, and replied in this thread - can you answer my questions?

Recognition of the bass-line is not enabled in the free demo version of Songs2See Editor. In the full version available on Steam, you can use the Audio Import Wizard to select bass transcription. Afterwards, you can either edit the bass notes in the Piano-Roll view or show the bass sheet music in the Score Sheet View.

Thank you. I appreciate the fast and informative response. I'm hesitant to buy the product since i've not seen this anywhere so don't really know how accurate it is - that is why i downloaded demo. Not sure why you would cripple the demo of that (and other features). Show me this works - and I'll be very interested in buying the editor and game packages.

Hi,

Could you please download http://tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/d/dick_dale/nitro_guitar_pro.htm and import it to your editor. It somehow doesn't get the notes right. Mind that you will have to save it as Guitar pro 4 tab.

I think there is a bug going on with the editor. It just can't seem to get the notes right when it is imported from guitarpro.
