Clickteam Fusion 2.5

How to change view size?
I'm really new to Clickteam Fusion so I'm not really sure how to go about this. I've been looking up online how to change the view the player has inside of a frame, but I haven't found a clear answer...

If your looking to increase the size for better view of a sprite based game or the like, what you can do is set your "frame" size to something small, such as 160x144 (gameboy color) and then click on your applicaton under your workspace toolbar, and under properties, click the window tab (monitor icon). Scroll to the bottom, and tick the option "Resize display to fill window size". Now when you run your game, you'll see the window size is the same as what is set under your properties, but the actual view size as been dramatically zoomed in.

If your looking to dynamically zoom in and out during gameplay, you'll need to utilize some of the available extensions.

Quick tip: You can also use the ultimate fullscreen extension, however it is not included in the extension manager, and you'll need to manually download it yourself (for reasons I am unaware).

Thanks, that's exactly what I needed! And I'll definitely check out that extension, sounds like it'll be really useful in the longrun.

Just keep in mind that its a good idea not to fiddle with the frame size values too much, or you'll get some noticable pixel distortion. So if you wanted to zoom out a bit, just take the values I gave you and double them, or google other older console resolutions (such as NES).

Am i getting it wrong ? when i size the screen ( via the little monitor ) to say 800x600 it does resize in the editor but i get a ghost outline of the default 640x480 as well ?

And when i test the game its still in 640x480 ?

Are you resizing your current frame or the entire application? In your workspace toolbar, check which one you have highlighted. It sounds like you're increasing the frame while keeping the application the same size, which is creating the overlap you're seeing.
