I can't find this anywhere. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Start of Frame -> Play
MPEG: end of video -> Play

I hate to be a bother, but do you think you could screenshot an example. I try doing this and it doesn't seem to loop. I don't have just a Play option.

Nevermind man, I got it now! Just play forward. Thank you!

Never a bother... its all good... sometimes things are not straight forward

yes it is play forward... but when you look at the box it says just play

I couldn't figure out how to get stuff to loop seamlessly, at least not with audio, but it's nice knowing it's somewhat possible.

This workshop example shows how to play music seamlessly between frames and frame resets

I recreated this without channels, just "Is (audio) not playing?" and it seems to have removed the delay slightly, but it's still there. I'm trying to loop the audio along with the mpeg, but for whatever reason there is slight delay. I've tried all kinds of audio formats and nothing seems to help.

anyway you could send over an example .mfa? ... so I can tinker with it and see what your trying to do

You won't believe this, I actually just figured it out. Swapped out MPEG for DirectShow and everything is working fine now.

My only issue now is that I can't seem to transition or fade out the DirectShow looping videos, even when I use fade in/out on the frames. It all just comes out kind of less-than-seamless.

Any ideas for fading out video when a button is clicked to go to next frame?

I havent played with video much so not sure.

Also, when you say fade in/out on the frames... are you referring to the video or the frame itself... because my next idea was just fade out the entire frame... before going to next frame... but if thats not working... I am not sure...

Are you using frame effects?
rev Oct 22, 2016 @ 9:39pm
The frame itself, no luck. Trying to see if there's a way to fade out the direct show video.
Squatter Oct 22, 2016 @ 9:53pm
So testing this... I can fade the frame out... but the direct show video is not effected when I do this (Fade Out is done using the Frame Properties)

Have I replicated the issue correctly?

Yes.

Ok... I will try and play with this and see what I come up with... it most likely will have to be some sort of work around
rev Oct 22, 2016 @ 10:06pm
I'm up for anything at this point! My only work around was setting up a black frame which automatically goes to the next frame (with the next directshow) when you're on it, but it seems to last a bit too long for comfort, even without transitions.
